Avant Garde Innovations ™ was honoured to be one of the select few companies from across the world invited to be showcased at the prestigious 7th Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM7) held at Silicon Valley, San Francisco. Avant Garde is the only Indian Clean Energy company which was invited to this internationally renowned clean energy event.
World's 1st Clean Energy Company in 'Driveto50001' Coalition
At the 7th Clean Energy Ministerial event in San Francisco, U.S, a new global Energy Management campaign named ‘’Drive to 50001’’ was launched to promote the ISO 50001 Energy Management System. Avant Garde Innovations ™ has now proudly become the world's 1st clean energy company to be the Founding Coalition Partner in this new Global Energy Management Campaign. Avant Garde also become one of the world's first 6 companies, along with Samsung, LG and others, and Governments such as U.S, Canada, Germany, Japan etc to join this new international ISO 50001 Energy Management Coalition. The U.S White House has released the official press release below announcing involvement of Avant Garde in this initiative alongside other leading companies such as Apple, Google, Microsoft, Facebook etc.

UN Sustainable Development Goals
Avant Garde Innovations ™ became the only Indian company whose commitment to the new UN Sustainable Development Goals were published by the UN Private Sector Forum. The CEO of Avant Garde Innovations was invited by the United Nations to attend the historic announcement of the new 'Sustainable Development Goals' (SDGs) by the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon on Sep 2015 at the UN headquarters in New York.
Commitment to 100% Renewables
Avant Garde Innovations ™ is now proud to be globally recognised as the world's 1st Startup and as the 1st Indian Energy company to make the bold commitment for 100% clean energy usage for its operations. This global recognition is by made by the international partners of the UN Climate Summit (COP21) in Paris, namely the CDP and 'We Mean Business', the two global coalitions established to address climate change. With this, we have become one of the world's first 25 companies that has made this commitment for environmental sustainability.
UN Global Compact Signatory
Avant Garde Innovations ™ is the 1st Indian Alternate Energy company to be a member of the United Nations Global Compact Network. The UN Global Compact is the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative with over 12000 corporate participants and other stakeholders from over 130 countries, with two objectives: "Mainstream the 10 principles in business activities around the world" and "Catalyse actions in support of broader UN goals. The UN Global Compact is a United Nations initiative to encourage businesses worldwide to adopt sustainable and socially responsible policies.
Signatory to UN 'Caring for Climate Initiative'
Avant Garde Innovations ™ has become the 1st Renewable Energy signatory company from India to join the UN 'Caring for Climate' which is the United Nation’s Initiative for Business Leadership on Climate Change. 'Caring for Climate' was launched by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in July 2007. The initiative is jointly convened by the United Nations Global Compact, the secretariat of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP)
